HR Synergies, LLC was born out of the realization of the human resource void that exists within the world of small businesses and non-profit organizations. After spending over 30 years in corporate human resources in executive positions including 10 years in a fortune 500 company serving as their Director of Human Resources, Director of Staffing, and Director of Supplier Diversity, and 12 years as the VP of Executive and Professional Talent Acquisition for the country's 5th largest commercial bank, Sam Hines, Vice President of HR Synergies, LLC developed an idea to help small businesses.
As a benefit of his corporate success, Mr. Hines was fortunate to serve on many small business and non-profit boards, where he was able to lend his human resources expertise. During this service, he recognized a real need for small businesses to receive the same level of human resource services and protection that he was able to oversee in his corporate positions. He also recognized how cost-prohibitive such services could be. In 2001, Mr. Hines left Corporate America to pursue his desire to concentrate on this segment, and he developed a successful HR consulting business, mostly concentrating his efforts in South Florida, but also expanding his services out of state to areas including Washington, DC/Maryland and Illinois.
Sam Hines continued successfully consulting, and explored new avenues to help expand his service. In 2008, he partnered with industry experts to begin laying the groundwork for what is now HR Synergies, LLC. The founding members, which included business development and sales and marketing experts, as well as information technology specialists, developed a proprietary network of the highest quality HR professionals, a smart electronic interface, and an efficient service delivery system that would allow small businesses and non-profits to receive the level of HR counsel and protection commonly associated with large corporations, but at a fraction of the cost.
