build house for those in hurricane sandy. I learned about how to build a foundation for houses and buildings. hardest part was picking up big pieces of the house. most enjoyable part was the food we ate.

I feel that volunteering at Habitat for humanity is for a good cause because of what they provide to those who are less fortunate. Since I work at the Retail Re-Store I am able to provide customer assistance, help out the manager, and provide a positive work environment. Pros: making new friends
At the job I helped Tim the manager re-stalk shelves and help the costumers find what they needed. I had a lot of fun learning things about different tool and appliances, the people I worked with were very kind and helpful when i didn't know what to do.

The day begins with learning what your duties of the day are after finding that out you start helping customers until its time for a pickup or collect donations from customers cars. help customers find prices.

typical day consisted of bookkeeping & general clerical duties. Collections, interacting with clients, problem solving. Direct supervisor was great. Really cared about clients. Co-workers were great.
