Harvey L. Hall

Hall Ambulance - Why Work for Us?

Hall Ambulance is the 9-1-1 paramedic provider for 88% of Kern County, California, with a population that exceeds 839,000 people.

You dedicated yourself to becoming a paramedic to make a difference for those in need of medical aid. Isn’t it time you start working in an autonomous environment that places you at the helm of your patient’s healthcare working off a wide scope of protocols?

The Proper Tools

Clean, stocked ambulances in our metro system await the start of your shift, ready to roll on whatever the day brings. Our ambulances are outfitted to impress—no stock, base models here. Founder and President Harvey L. Hall commands a no-compromise standard when it comes to providing his paramedic crews with the equipment they need to deliver exemplary care.

Your work builds upon a solid 46-year stellar reputation of providing high-quality emergency medical transportation services while embracing technology and the advancement of patient care—constantly moving the bar forward.

2017 marks a renaissance in patient care reports at Hall Ambulance Service with the implementation of ESO. Once completed, Bakersfield will be one of the first communities in the nation to have a Health Data Exchange network linking EMS and hospital care.

We Celebrate Life Saves and Good Deeds

We celebrate life saves and good deeds each February in honor of Hall Ambulance Service's anniversary. At the 2017 Employee Recognition Awards program we celebrated 453 employees and presented 131 awards in recognition of our employees' achievements.

Life saves and other commendable actions are recognized by Mr. Hall bestowing his Company's Star of Life Award onto the recipient. This qualifiies the paramedic, EMT or emergency medical dispatcher to represent Hall Ambulance at the California Ambulance Association's Annual Stars of Life event held at the state capitol.

However, our greatest acknowledgement for a job well done comes directly from our patients. Every patient receives a Quality Survey after service has been provided, asking them to rate the quality of care provided. The result is impressive! 84% of survey respondents rate their experience with Hall Ambulance Service as 'exemplary' and 11% as 'above average' for a total combined customer satisfaction rating of 95% in 2016.
