I'm quitting halliburton before my 1 year and they paid for my CDL. Halliburton says if you quit before 1 year you have to pay halliburton $3000. Is this true? Has anyone had their CDL paid for by halliburton and quit Halliburton before their 1 year? what did they do?

Id like to get a general idea of what to expect. Ive been contacted about the program. Im supposed to begin with a phone interview. I have a degree in Occupational Safety & Health, as well as, Interpersonal/Organizational Communication. I minored in Leadership/Business. Ive been told the program is easy and Ive read that it its hard. Sometimes 210 hours every 2 weeks. & days a week all ear long. Especially emergency calls. I don't have a background in Oil & Gas, but am aspiring to make it my career choice. In some of the forums it says that this program is training you for a slingshot into management positions. *IMHO doesnt any training? I have no experiencein Safety, only the degree. So I think this would be a good place to start. So.... What do they want to know during the phone interview? Will the second or third interview be a panel interview or one on one? Is the program as intensive as Ive read, or is there a bit of exaggeration? Is this supposed to teach you management protocols, or just really a overall explanation of oil & gas PSL? Any other information that is pertinent to this topic would be appreciated as well. Thanks in advance

Recently laid off and found lots of available positions with HAlliburton, most being in Houston which I'm okay with for the salaries listed, Most of my experience was with Rodman excavating. How do I speed up the process of getting and interview, resume is posted, recruiting team confirmed my profile I filled out, now it's just a waiting game. Any assistance is appreciated.

It's always hard to know what to expect when going in for that interview -- and preparation can make all the difference. What is the interview process like at Halliburton? Any advice on striking the right note?

Every business has it's own style. What is the office environment and culture like at Halliburton? Are people dressed in business casual, jeans and t-shirts, or full-on suits? Do folks get together for Friday happy hours and friendly get-togethers? What is a typical day in the life of an employee at Halliburton?
