Great job to extend my customer service skills and office skills. Had to deal with a wide variety of guests to help with numerous amount of issues and needs. Ran all office duties, checked in guests, took reservations, and assisted any and all guests with check in and out or any other issues.

Front Desk Receptionist (Current Employee), Lafayette, LAJune 16, 2014
Pros: opportunity to meet people from all over the world.
Cons: no break during 8 hour shift and must stand on feet for 8 hours.
I love and work well with my team mates.
This job has no benefits at all except for discounted rooms when traveling. The management team has no structure and very unorganized. The most enjoyable part of my job is assisting and meeting new guests from all parts of the world.

Audit/Night Clerk (Current Employee), Las Vegas, NVJune 11, 2014
Pros: meeting interesting people
Cons: working night shift no breaks
Meet interesting people, learned to handle stress and problems guest may have, working with management and co-workers is like working as a family. The hardest part of the job is understanding guest who do not speak English well, but the enjoyable is learning about other cultures.

Good but difficult
Housekeeper (Former Employee), Astoria, ORMay 6, 2014
My co-workers were great, as well as the management. The work was difficult because we were short staffed but I enjoyed being up and doing something all day. The hours varied and were often not many because it was a tourist town and it wasn't in season.

Front Office Manager/Assistant General Manager (Former Employee), Owasso, OKApril 6, 2014
Pros: staff, customers, experience
Cons: job advancement, compensation
I learned a lot of invaluable lessons and job experience from working with Hampton Inn. I not only built on top of my extensive customer service skills, I was able to gain professional sales abilities that I can use in any industry. I was able to learn the skill of Account Recv. I was given the responsibility of all corporate A/R accounts and follow – more... up. I had a great staff who helped maintain a postivie enviroment. – less

All in a days Work
Night Auditor and Desk Service Agent (Current Employee), Ontario, CAMarch 26, 2014
A typical night at work consists of me cleaning the hotel checking in patients and running all the financial data from the day before and inputting it into the computer.
I have the most amazing manager and coworkers. Everyone here is like a family and it's great.
The hardest part of my job is the working nights I am definitely used to it now but it – more... is not one of my favorites shifts because I am more of a people person and on this shift I am mainly on my own. – less
