typical day would start between 4- 5 am. I learned everything from product offered,,inventory control and client retention. You have to have communication skills and listen to what your customers concerns are . Building trust and keeping your word is mandatory. You are out in the elements all the time. If you don't like the extreme heat or bitter cold, you won't make it. Also, you need to be there when it snows and work with it.( Remember hospitals never close and your clients are counting on you to be there) Management was firm but fair. They would be there if you had issues and work toward a resolution . Coworkers were great ( up line as well as down line Yeah their were rough days, but you worked though it and moved on.. worst part was moving though ice covered side walks or unplowed parking lots. also handling linen that had blood on it was no fun . Also if the elevator was out of service , you had to grunt it out up the stairs.Overall, good job ,working by yourself is great and best part was when everything clicked on schedule.
