General Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead creative sessions for project kick-offs
  • Manage multiple projects from concept through completion
  • Develop creative programs and design concepts that meet the business objectives of the organization and that advance our brand strategy
  • Formulate basic layout design or presentation approach, and specify material details
  • Establish, develop and maintain creative library, image bank and font licenses
  • Ensures creative delivery is consistent with the strategy, time, cost and quality parameters
  • Maintain current knowledge of new techniques and technologies in creative design
  • Establish creative direction
  • Supervise and inspire creative team; generate multiple concepts for a campaign or project
  • Present developed concepts to management
  • Provide quality control over concepts of projects
  • Performs other related duties as assigned and requested by Management

  • Ability to manage sensitive, complex, and confidential information
  • Professional appearance and presentation
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with executives, employees, clients, and the public
  • Extensive knowledge of the use of office equipment required by the position (e.g. PC, word processor, copier, fax) and any software associated with that equipment (e.g. Corel Draw, 3D, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to make evaluative judgments
  • Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments
  • Skill to maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information
  • Strong persuasive and presentation skills
  • Flexibility

Educational Requirements:

  • 4 year degree preferred with emphasis in Fine Arts, Graphic Design or related field or equivalent visual design and management experience required

Experience Requirements:

  • 4 year minimum in graphic design, advertising agency, or environmental graphics firm as well as direction of art support staff experience required
