Pros: listen to great music/ videos all day, great food also.
Lots of awesome memorabilia with great stories from the past. I enjoyed meeting all of the different tourist/ guest over the years. We also participated in a lot of charities & fundraisers, it's always nice to be able to help out & be apart of something great.
Busser/Host (Former Employee), Atlanta, GA – June 27, 2014
Hard Rock has a steady flow of customers. It is fast paced and in my position there was a lot of work to be done. I learned how to operate in a restaurant environment and move quickly to clear tables to the dishwasher. I love what Hard Rock stands for which is equality and serve all. The memorabilia on the wall is beautiful to look at and most importantly – more... I found a momentum I could work in everyday and produce a top performance. An important part was that I was always able to take care of myself. I worked closely with my team and together we worked hard and it paid off greatly. I would love to explore more Hard Rock locations and have different experiences with the company. – less

Retail Sales Associate/Trainer/Server (Former Employee), San Juan, PR – May 29, 2014
Pros: good discounts, a lot of tips.
Cons: long hours standing up and running
It was a wonderful place to work specially if you are young and in college. My co-workers were very friendly and very happy people. It was hard to make every customer happy but we did everything to make that possible, it was not 100% but close to it. I love to work there because every single day it was a different situation and opportunity to make somebody – more... smile. – less
Server (Current Employee), Detroit, MI – May 6, 2014
Pros: half off food, sometimes free food too
Cons: no breaks, you have to just work straight through the day
If you work at HRC, you must know how to multitask at all times. A typical day involves a diverse population of people and being able to satisfy everyone through great customer service. You have to know problem solve and handle customers on your own because there is not always a manager to help you out. The managers are pretty cool and there is opportunity – more... for advancement if you prefer. The most enjoyable part of the job is the atmosphere, the co-workers, and the music. – less
Sales and Promotions Intern (Former Employee), Myrtle Beach, SC – April 14, 2014
Pros: my first office job.
Cons: it was only temporary.
I came in and was given a list of tasks to complete each day. Some was secretarial and some was sales related. I learned the behind the scenes operations of a major company, and different ways to deal with guest relations. Management was amazing, and taught me so much to take back to school with me when my internship was completed. The hardest part – more... was being thrown in to scenarios with guests and trying to make them happy if some part of their service upset them. The most enjoyable part was learning about the industry I wanted to be in. – less
Preperatory Trainer (Former Employee), Destin, FL – February 28, 2014
Pros: positive work environment, good pay, benefits..
Cons: work can get hectic..
From preparing the food to my training of new talents in the kitchen, the hard rock was a very good place to work .All though,, management and I did not see eye to eye on some subjects ,,at least they tried to meet me in some subjects...My ultimate concerns were in the way other trainers were treating the students under their guide....Management did – more... work with me to resolve those issues.. They also made sure that proper credit was given to the individual that deserved it...My greatest regret is letting a bad day and promises from another employer end my time with the hard rock.. – less
Host/Server (Former Employee), Tumon, GU – December 14, 2013
Pros: amazing staff and management, lenient break times, awesome training seminars.
Cons: i cant think of one
A typical work day at the Hard Rock Cafe Guam is a day unlike any other. Everyday is full of excitement and unexpected difficulties that are overcome with the help of your "family" (coworkers and managers). I had learned that there is no other place that you can work and become so comfortable the minute you start there the staff and management are welcoming – more... and open. Management there is outstanding. They guide you and show you through trial and error you can become successful at what you do. The hardest part of the job is going home at the end of the day. You cant find any other job that you can have fun and work at the same time. Truly no other place like it. The most enjoyable part f the job is just being able to entertain guests and be surrounded by amazing people everyday. – less
