Phlebotomist, Havre De Grace, MD - April 6, 2015
This was a great job. The management was very personable but also professional. Everybody treated everyone with respect and it was easy to come to work and get things done. A typical day at work would be to come in get settled quickly and go on the floors of the hospital and do rounds if the outpatient lab was empty or manageable for one person. I learned different techniques on how to easily collect blood from difficult veins. The hardest part of the job would be the early morning shift and drawing about 30 patients before the next Phlebotomist came in. The most enjoyable part of the job would be meeting different people and making them feel better and compliment you when you would easily collect their blood.
