Warehouse specialist (Former Employee) – Farmingdale, NY 11735 – July 20, 2017
A typical day work would be good and fast, felt as if there was always work and time flew. Ive learned to work as a team and be efficient. The management was very well understanding and I like most of them. The hardest part of the job was taking on the biggest orders and and finishing up at the end of the night. The most enjoyable was being able to ask for some candy because I worked in the candy department and getting to know all the workers there so it felt good knowing everyone after a while.

Highest regard for HLA. Respectful, Encouraging, Informative. Long days and hours, intense but exciting work. Co-workers are like family especially since we spend more time together than we did with our own families. Hardest part of the job was difficult customers but the most enjoyable part of the job was the accomplished feelings after trade shows.
Growing Wholesaler and Distributor. Tough yet fair work environment.
Merchandiser/Sales (Former Employee) – Farmingdale, NY – April 10, 2013
Merchandising allows you to visit many different accounts week to week. I learned the importance of category management, priority management, and salesmanship. My co-workers were pleasant to work with and work for. The hardest part of the job and the most enjoyable part were one in the same. Being on the road, driving at least four hours a day, to and from different accounts was tiresome and lonesome, although very freeing and independent.
