We like to think simple and candidates have said it is "quick and easy." The time it takes depends on the exact job and location where you are applying. Our store hire teams review the list of completed applications then reach out for phone screenings on the applications that are a best fit for the job. In person interviews are then scheduled. Candidates that pass the in person interview are given conditional offers and asked to update the application with more information including a background check. This takes 3 to 5 business days to complete. The candidate is then scheduled to begin ! Paper work and training begins the first paid day of employment.

I turned in a healthy notice, asking for leave for school. They turned down my school leave, saying I was going to grad school which does not 'count'. I was offered, literally, a $7.00 an hour pay cut to go to part time doing the same work I was doing full time. Also, I was turned down for a promotion with them giving me an excuse along the lines of, you have too much education. HT is a nice place to work, I am a workaholic and was always busy. I worked in all departments, even overnights if needed. HT needs to seriously re-consider the educational leave policy...
