Great Starting Place for IT professionals
Endpoint Support Specialists (Current Employee), Bremerton, WA – February 9, 2013
Pros: the people you work with
Cons: lack of training, no management communication
Harrison is a great place to get your foot in the door and feel like you are a part of a community organization. For the most part they treat employees well, however there is a lack of training, motivation and leadership.

Hostile Work Enviroment
Nurse (Former Employee), Silverdale – February 1, 2013
Pros: good pay
Cons: lack of breaks
You will feel unvalued, not listened to, lots of drama, backstabbing from both co-workers and management, favoritism of selected staff. When if you leave you will feel your self esteem lowered/torn. They tend to dumb you down, unless your one of the favorites. A lot of the problems Start at the top and roll down hill. Poor behavior and poor nursing – more... is encouraged and or tolerated as long as your a yes man to the management. HIGH turn over rate in staff – less

Currently a mess while shopping for someone to buy them out
Various IT titles over the years.. (Former Employee), Bremerton WA – September 17, 2012
Business is broke and looking for someone to take over.
Worked there 6 years in IT, can't recommend it until the leadership changes.
Multiple layoffs, downsizing, no job security, positions eliminated.

They low level staff is good enough, but all the all stars left when the medical center went 'up for sale'.

Harrison is not going broke or downsizing. Harrison Medical Center is strong financially and growing. Harrison is building a new Orthopedic Hospital, opening another urgent care and multiple provider offices. They have invested in bringing specialist to the county that had not been here before. I have worked at Harrison for over seven years and have seen great improvements. It is a great place to work.

Expanding network. Building a 30 bed orthopedic unit at our Silverdale facility. Just announced a 24 hour urgent care to be built on Bainbridge Island in 2013.

The OB and Neonatal Nursing and RT staff at Silverdale were very good. Otherwise a dismal disappointment.
Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (Former Employee), Silverdale, WA – June 2, 2012
I worked at the Silverdale, Harrison for approximately 2 years. Received an Above Standard evaluation!! Unfortunately, communication and collegiality with medical staff, administration and vision were seriously lacking.
Sadly, this serious deficeincy continues. Starting at the top and trickles down to the grassroots staff.
For high risk perinatal/neonatal – more... care I would say, have a strong back-up plan. – less

Information technology volunteer (Current Employee), East Bremerton Washington – December 19, 2011
Pros: great people and good food in the cafe.
I volunteered there for almost 3 years, and have done everything. It’s a great place to work, I hope to get a job there when something matches my skills opens up .
