Busboy/Waiter, New York, New York - December 10, 2014
I start the day by cleaning the store and preparing ice and sauces so we have enough for the day. Throughout the day I keep these items stocked up. While we have customers I help to remove dishes from the tables, fill waters, and sometimes take orders if my servers are busy. If there is no bartender available during the morning I will occasionally make drinks for the customers. Food sometimes take a little so I have to go check for the servers and the customers. I keep them both updated on the status of their food and I try my best to keep the customers satisfied. When the day is over and we're closed I am responsible for cleaning the store and putting up chairs and bringing in our patio furniture over the warmer days.
