Judges do not receive raises for it is more along the lines of a contracting job. That is hosted once a year over a 4-5 day period.

I would encourage a culture of respecting the different levels of social and professional standing. I would follow closely the effects of the jobs on the life and health of the persons holding those jobs. I would listen (through the appointed spokespeople) to the affected group/s. I would not be arrogant and disdainful towards every person I am involved with.
