Great place to work, free candy and coffee to keep you going and kind people to work with.

Hawkes is a great company to work for. I have learned a lot about software testing. My management is helpful and understanding and a joy to work for. My coworkers are some of the most intelligent and nice people I have ever met. My most enjoyable part of the job is probably getting to see a final product you put some much work in its final form.

Pros: week and a half off for christmas
Cons: you will do the same thing over and over.
If you likely really repetitive work, go ahead and sign on.
If have strong opinions and express them, feel free, if you're a woman. The place is staffed completely with women and do NOT like any males challenging current ideas or conventions. They will view this as a man challenging authority based on the fact they are women, not managers. The pay is sub-par and most weeks you will be asked to wor – more... k more than 40 hours a week. Not many holidays off either. The bright side is from Christmas Eve until after New Year's Eve the company closes. It is the best time of the year for that reason alone. Management can't make any decisions and if they do it's because they had a four hour meeting on one minor subject. The next day they will probably have another and change their minds again. They are looking for more people with Masters in Applied Mathematics fields...but are only willing to pay in the mid 30's. Good luck to them – less
