Island City Rehab Center (Former Employee) – Wilmington, IL – August 30, 2014
Like any other job this one has its good days and bad days but when you have a bad day here it's really bad. You're not suppose to get attached to the residents but it's really hard not to. Most residents there now are appreciative and nice. Management on the other hand don't should appreciation for their workers. Management also bring their social lives into the work place and mostly hire their friends who most the time can't really do their job. There are a hand full of really good co-workers but there are some who will not go that extra mile. I have been told on numerous occasions from workers there, " that's not my resident." The facility is not the greatest one around because of how old the building is. There are multiple problems with the building that went along time not fixed.
great residents, some good co-workers, decorations, dances and parties for residents
poor management, bad co-workers, building problems
