Three weeks out of the month was in the office, making phone calls to customers and helping them in every way you could. The other week was travel to your territory to visit with clients face to face. Unfortunately, the management wasn't very good at helping the employees improve. The work environment was very cliquey.

HCL is a joke

Worst company I've ever worked for. Owner's son is running it into the ground. Management lacks support of their employees. Bonus structure continually changed. Employees held hostage at their desks for 8 hours a day. Two 15-minute breaks per day and a half hour lunch.

Some managers made themselves available to employees..
Cons
Lack of opportunities for growth, and unbelievable turnover rate.

The company was very bent on standing out in a commodity market!

The days were structured around a tremendous amount of correspondence/follow-up; and alignment of department responsibilities/deadline objectives. The majority of my "personal" time was spent planning, coordinating, scheduling, editing and reviewing upcoming marketing programs.
I learned a tremendous amount about the healthcare industry and the primary players. I also had the advantage of being at a company where the customer "truly came first."
The management team was quite diverse.
My coworkers were very friendly and fun for the most part. Everyone tried to help the customers wherever possible.
The hardest part of my job was getting "key players" to agree on priorities and budgets. Planning was generally secondary.
The most enjoyable part of my job was when programs turned out beautifully and performed really well!
Pros
The most exceptional customer service of anywhere I have been employed.
Cons
Randomly changing vs. continuously evolving strategic mindset.

A excellent place to work. Advancement available

All employees and management were both friendly and made every new employee feel very welcome and part of a team right from the start. If you had any questions there was always someone there that was able to not only guide you but teach you how to find the information within the system.
The company itself really went out of its way to let you know just how valuable you were by doing special things like letting you choose from a list of goodies from a local chocolate store and made sure that your choice was sitting on your desk on your birthday when you came in that morning. The company also provided turkeys and hams to each employee during the holidays. Out of all the company's that I have worked for both big and small, Health Care Logistics has been the best by far.

Health Care Logistics is a fun, casual work environment where employees are engaged, involved, and invested in the company and their work. Management is open minded, very supportive, and offers flexible work hours for work-life balance, opportunities for professional growth and development, and truly cares about the well being of the employees. The company is very people-oriented and value driven - customer satisfaction is a top priority as well as employee satisfaction. Each facility is small enough so that you are able to know the name and face of everyone you work with. Co-workers are all very friendly and supportive of one another. Lots of autonomy in some positions, allowing employees to work in a way that best fits their personality and work style. Health Care Logistics is also very committed to supporting the community.
