Working for HMA had it's ups and downs, but what employer doesn't. This TPA needed to keep up with the constant changes in the Health Care Industry, while still trying to maintain that family value aspect. It was hard and a lot of people that have been there since the company began in 1985 it was a hard pill to swallow and accept the changes. Some adapted some didn't. However, I met some incredible people there that made going to work enjoyable. Most have become dear friends of mine.
HMA use to have a wonderful program of remote working in which was amazing. But now not so much I had to end employment due to the fact that I was moving to NV and the "Company Needs" were in WA only although I was already a remote worker. But nonetheless it was overall an OKAY company to work for.
