I am a liaison to the members we so proudly serve. My mission is to assist members in every aspect of their dental insurance. Informing the member of their benefits and alternative services. I learned a great deal about policy and procedures and strong empathy. I learned how to keep my tone in a professional manner in time of sensitive needs. The hardest part of the job is trying to communicate to a person that may not understand the reason for a denial or why the person is not elig for certian services. I learned to be analytical and assist in an alternative manner if the member is limited. The most enjoyable part is helping people and to set them in the right direction and advise them on what to do next.
