Working environment was frequently disorganized hence decreased productivity. I learned how to evaluate the health assessment as per DOH. Management was non supportive of staff. Mostly supportive co workers, due to lack of management support. The hardest part of the job was being unable to have an input in the development of the company. WOW is all I can say!!! Completely lost for words.....Lost a great deal of good employees due to the lack of professional environment from upper management to the founder of the company. Must say employees work HARD long hours and little pay, lack of compassion and appreciation for employees from upper management. Life at a homecare agency is always often fast paced dealing with referrals, hospital admits/discharges, client's family involvement or lack of, and scheduling shifts are just a few. Not to mention dealing with the administrative staff needs as well. I enjoyed working with the staff this business predicated on team work. All administrative staff positions – more... piggy backed on one another if human resources did not maintain compliance then the scheduling coordinator would not be able to effective do that job. Productive but lack of communication between Aide and Coordinator

Cons: coordinators don't want you to advance in career.
A typical day at work would be me accompanying a client to an appointment, food shopping and shopping for clothing. Assisting with medication reminder and bathing was required.
