Working environment was frequently disorganized hence decreased productivity. I learned how to evaluate the health assessment as per DOH. Management was non supportive of staff. Mostly supportive co workers, due to lack of management support. The hardest part of the job was being unable to have an input in the development of the company. WOW is all I can say!!! Completely lost for words.....Lost a great deal of good employees due to the lack of professional environment from upper management to the founder of the company. Must say employees work HARD long hours and little pay, lack of compassion and appreciation for employees from upper management. Cons: dealing with clients death
Life at a homecare agency is always often fast paced dealing with referrals, hospital admits/discharges, client's family involvement or lack of, and scheduling shifts are just a few. Not to mention dealing with the administrative staff needs as well. I enjoyed working with the staff this business predicated on team work. All administrative staff positions – more... piggy backed on one another if human resources did not maintain compliance then the scheduling coordinator would not be able to effective do that job. Assist patient with ADL and learned to be responsible and dependable. The management is very helpful in case you need hepl. Co-worker are friendly. Patient is not able to be dependable and suffering, the enjoyable part my patient is happy and free of pain
