Fabricator/Welder (Current Employee) – Harrison, OH – December 13, 2017
Management here is NOT engaged with the workforce. 401 match is supposed to start next year. Only just beginning to try to implement lean, and a lot of the people aren't buying in to it. Good ole boy network runs through the company. Positive reviews on here were written by management.

Heartland has made some changes lately that will make this a great place to work. they have added some benefits like a 401K match + added a full week vacation. they have raised the new hire general labor rate. we now get new years eve off paid now. they have introduced the new lean thinking into our processes, this helps our daily work flow and engages the people they are part of the process and decision making. a lot of good things to come from the new Heartland Group.
they engage the people in the processes
it has taken a long time to see these changes, but they have started.

The company has just recently been bought by a new company that is working toward making this a company more based around it's employees and are now matching 401k. They are also wanting to cut the hours back so we as employees can have time for our family's. They are also trying to do other things to better the culture for their employees it is a place I would recommend to come work and grow with this company as they take their next step in the industry.
Thanks for reading this
Now they have great management and leadership from the new company that bought them
