Charge Nurse, Burke, VA - July 17, 2012
The best part of the job was working with other experienced and caring caregivers. The worst part of the job was the daily reminder that this is a business venture. I learned how to communicate effectively with different styles of family, residents and other health care professionals. I also learned the role of the ongoing assessment in effective nursing care. During my time at this facility, i was able to hone my team leadership and management skills. The most enjoyable part of the job was interacting with the residents of the facility.
