Hedge Trackers provides advisory and consulting services with supporting technology for client's derivative accounting needs. Hedge Trackers makes it easy for treasurers to understand their exposures, hedge them effectively and provides all the tools needed to report on their derivatives painlessly.
The Senior Treasury Analyst works collaboratively with the Consulting team to engage with clients on their treasury operations, specifically interest rate, foreign exchange and commodities hedging activities. You may work with clients to help them to design, implement, and operate hedge, taking into considerations of best practices and business needs, and work with accounting, treasury and reporting to ensure accurate and timely performance reporting.
-Research market data in order to provide clients with guidance on FX, IR and Commodities risk strategy and implementation of appropriate hedge programs.
-Follow up on new client leads including phone calls, emails, and work with Consultants to determine how best to engage Hedge Trackers.
-Support demonstrations of Capella software to potential clients, including creating customized content for the client’s business model and hedging needs.
-Prepare customized content and training for client treasury and accounting teams on concepts of derivative accounting.
-Support Consultant’s and Sales Director’s efforts to train and implement Capella at client sites.
-20% Travel required
-Bachelor’s degree in business finance or accounting; CTP/CCM qualification is preferred
-5-6 years finance experience, preferably in domestic and international Treasury with a multinational company
-Working knowledge of accounting concepts, and an excellent understanding of macroeconomics including financial markets, financial instruments and investment theory
-Knowledge of banking and treasury systems.
-Advanced excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, macros, etc.)
-Enthusiasm to work with clients in a problem solving capacity
-Critical thinker with attention to details who can seek innovative solutions to complex business/technical issues
-Self-starter, have own initiatives, and possess strong prioritization and organization skills.
-Able to work in a fast-paced environment and can handle multiple projects simultaneously
-Good verbal, written, and presentation skills to articulate ideas and plans clearly, accurately, and effectively with all levels of internal and external audiences
-Team player adept at facilitating an open exchange of ideas and know how to build win/win relationships
