It was a wonderful place to work at. I do regret that I had to leave this employer for school. It was a great place to work because everyone there was so friendly.

Most days are steady with the usual amount of work avaliable in an 8-10hr shift.
Management is typically laid back
most times work tends to get pretty bagged up depending on the shift ahead

Terrible place to work
Quality Auditor (Former Employee), Horn Lake, MSOctober 17, 2013
Pros: na
Cons: sucks
Some days you work 8, some days you work 4, some days you work 10-12 hours.
Supervisors and leads are unprofessional and petty
The work is easy but usually a lot of it
Pay sucks
The hardest part of the job is going to it knowing what you have to deal with everyday
The most enjoyable part, leaving everyday.
Some of my coworkers were great, the rest not – more... so much.
I learned to never work for them again or recommend anyone to go there. – less

Big-company work with small-company wages
Marketing (Current Employee), El Paso TXSeptember 10, 2013
Pros: low cost cafeteria, holidays off, occasional free employee luncheons
Cons: low wages, no advancement, cronyism
Expect to become a number. They really just need you to keep the gears turning as management has become extremely conformist. Advancement is very rare, they will much rather seek outside than promote from within. This is unfortunate because they lose good employees that have been waiting for advancement and morale has been declining.
Overall, if you're – more... looking for a steady (to a fault) JOB this place is ok. It has a low-cost cafeteria and once in a while there are nice company luncheons.
Other than a couple of perks, employees could use little more of those hefty quarterly earnings into their wages a lot more than the VP needs another European sports car :( – less

Auditor (Former Employee), Southaven, MSJune 13, 2013
Pros: friendly co-works
Cons: never knew what time you were getting off.
A typical work day at Helen of Troy was very crazy. You never knew what time you were getting off. The managers and team leads never informed you of what was going on. They always acted as if they didnt know.

Receptionist (Former Employee), El Paso, TXMay 14, 2013
Pros: met important contacts, helped schedule appointments, customer service.
Cons: angry callers.
Helen of Troy executive offices are a relaxing and enjoyable place to work at. The most important duty I had was learning the position, name and faces of everyone around. The reason I needed to learn this is because I handled packages, transferred calls and received scheduled appointments for executives and other employees. Data entry was essential – more... for specific duties also. – less

It's a job not a career.
Clerk (Current Employee), Southaven, MSMay 14, 2013
1st and 2nd shifts are available. Overtime is added at the beginning of your shift (i.e. on a 12 hr day, you come in a 3am instead of 6am) They are a temp-to-hire facility, and the pay is min.

OXO is the best dept to be in if you want to work a lot of hours. Idelle gets the least.

Good for summer work or 2nd job if you live close.

More drama here – more... than in a middle school. And it's organized chaos. – less

a typical work day at Newleywed Foods was basically checking bottes on the line to see if they had any cracks, was filled all the way, an if the label was on
