Terrible place to work
Medical Assistant (Former Employee), Shelbyville, TNJuly 13, 2015
Pros: Close to home
Cons: The Clinical Administrator
The upper management as in the Clinical Administrator is an awfully hatefully and rude person. She tells you one thing and does the opposite. Adds more work on you and takes away work from someone they says cannot handle it- what they need to say to them is stay off your cell phone and personal phone call and do your job or replace them. You will be lucky to get your review and if you do you may get ,10 - .15 cents. The clinical Administrator will ruin the best person's personality because she that's the way she is A Witch

Heritage Medical Center
Sonographer (Former Employee), Shelbyville, TNApril 20, 2015
Pros: New Facility
Cons: Co-workers attitude.
Heritage Medical Center is a fairly new facility with new equipment. The hospital and its equipment is clean and fresh and very attractive. The fly in the punch bowl is, the people. I don't know about every department, but in radiology there is a high turn over. The people in the department that have been there for a while are not nice people. They have their own group and they do not mix with outsiders. No one helps each other. Back-stabbing and rumor spreading is the norm here. There is a group of twelve radiologists that rotate through this hospital and all of them want different things. So on a daily basis, nothing is ever good enough or fast enough. And you can be, and are called in for anything at any hour of the night.

Internal Medicine office with 5 Internists
Office Nurse (Former Employee), Hilton Head Island, SCAugust 28, 2014
Pros: free lunch
Cons: office manager for the practices despised my physician
Loved the Physician I worked with; we bonded quickly amidst negativity with management. Loved the interaction with patients; would never turn away a sick patient no matter how full the day; always carried a smile and a few jokes to lighten the day. Always tried to stay a step ahead of everything and everybody. Left the practice due to the office closing and myself moving to Canton due to my parents health.
