Accounts Receivable Representative (Current Employee) – Middletown, PA – September 5, 2017
If you have ever worked in accounts receivables then you know it can be a stressful job. Besides your corporate accounts to maintain and to give weekly reviews for you have the everyday duties, assisting other branches, monitoring your emails, unlocking accounts, set up new accounts, creating spreadsheets, data entry, cash management. After all this you are also responsible for other duties assigned to you by the Controller. Example: Processing Corporate credit applications, Creating Employee Agreements, Processing Re-assigned accounts. Are just a few examples that I was responsible for. Then you have the end of month reports.
But, when you work with good people and are a team the stress doesn't seem so bad when there is someone willing to give you a hand if needed to get the job done. And you do the same in return.
The most enjoyable part if my job is when at the end of the month you calculate the percentages of your accounts and find that you have them at 98 % in the current is a job well done and also impresses the boss.
Paid time off, leaving early with pay, company lunchens, great bonus and christmas party
No Cons in regards to the job. For me its travel, tolls and fuel cost to get to work. Paying over a 1, 000 dollars or more a year just to go to work is not practical.
