All of the employees and the management were fun to work with.
Pros: quarterly bonuses for all the employees, if there was a profit.
Cons: promised a raise for 3 years for all my extra hard work and never got one.
I drove 40 miles each way for this job and I didn't mind it at all. This company gave quarterly bonuses if we made a profit and stayed below the scrap margin, to all of the employees. The supervisors, managers and engineers worked side by side with all the employees. Everyone had the same goal in each dept. and I never heard anyone say, "That's not – more... my job". I was trained very well and became a trainer. I worked with engineers and R&T to set up and develop new product lines. I assisted in creating and maintaining process documents. I trained employees on the new CCC machines, (Continuous Composite Corrugators) and we made a huge profit. I also have experience with operating single corrugators, sheeter, bailer, foil coater, encap, wash & dry and adhesive machines. I did quality inspections, wrapping and packing. I drove a forklift and used electric pallet jacks. – less
