HVAC technician to independently perform skilled work in the operation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems with related work as required.
*Perform a wide variety of maintenance and repair tasks in the operation of heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilating systems in residential homes and light commercial systems.
*Repair and maintain residential and commercial, natural gas, LP furnaces, central air conditioning systems, thermostats, air cleaners and humidifiers.
*Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair various makes and models of HVAC equipment.
*Understand the operating priciples of heating, air conditioning, electrical, and work safety practices related to HVAC work.
*Knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment used in the repair of heating and air conditioning equipment in residential and commercial buildings.
*Perform daily work duties associated with the trade with little to no supervision in the field.
*Maintain clean and stocked vehicle.
*Help to maintain an organized work environment.
*Be eligible to work in the US and have documentation for I-9 form
*Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
*Ability to pass a criminal background check (no felonies) and periodic, random drug testing.
*Must have the ability to troubleshoot heating & air conditioning problems in a timely manner.
*Possess an analytical and mechanical aptitude.
*Ability to follow and understand technical instructions.
*Solid communication skills with fellow employees and customers.
*Ability to generate revenue by recognizing and locating conditions which require repair and maintenance work within the customers' best interest.
*Produce legible invoicing & record keeping in a timely manner.
*Ability to explain technical information to clients at a non-technical level so that they understand.
*Able to work independently.
*Must maintain a well-groomed and professional appearance.
*Ability to work five(5) days a week with on-call rotation for evening and weekends.
