Great laid back environment
Administrative Assistant, Pathology Department (Former Employee), High Point, NC –
I had the opportunity to work with 5 fantastic Pathologists! I learned a lot about Pathology, and at times got hands on experience.

I wouldn't go back
RRT (Former Employee), High Point NC –
Pros: great pay, only 3 days a week, no on-call in my dept.
Cons: inconsistent management, closed-minded, reduction in staffing
I worked at this hospital for almost ten years; actually, it was 8 days shy of 10 years when I was called in and fired while I was on bereavement for the death of my grandmother.
It became much more fast-paced every time an employee or a whole unit of employees was laid off.
With the exception of 2 of my almost 30 other co-workers, I could trust no – more...  one. That was the hardest part of the job. The most enjoyable part is a toss up; it was either my days off or it was payday.
We were constantly told how far into the red the hospital was, yet "they" continued to remodel units. – less

performing MRI scans
MRI Technologist (Former Employee), high point nc –
Pros: great co-workers, great place to work
Cons: patient volume decreased, hours decreased
Seven years of experience performing MRI scans in fast-paced hospital and mobile unit settings with a “can do” spirit. Skilled in maintaining a professional yet calming demeanor to ease patient concerns and facilitate scans. Capable of delivering quality images of patients with wide range of health care issues with minimal supervision. Characterized – more...  as enthusiastic, energetic, and positive, with strong organizational skills. Lifelong learner eager to continuously add to personal knowledge of MRI practices. – less

If you are serious about your career, HPRHS, is the place to be trained.
Pharmacy Technician- Student (Former Employee), High Point, NC –
i really enjoyed doing my clinicals there. I truly learned alot and there seems to alot of room for advancement. The techs and pharmacists are very helpful and they will ensure that you fully understand the job and how important it is to be accurate, because at the end of the day you are responsible for someone's life.

not employee friendly
Rad Support Co (Former Employee), High Point –
Pros: some wonderful employees ....but they dont stay
Cons: enviroment
For a medical enviroment if employee dx. with illness they are fast to lay off. They are not welcoming to new ideas and thoughts (in some dept's) they advertise they want to keep up with the "times" for employees but they really dont want change.
