A typical day for me at work is preparing and serving meals to residents. I take care of dishes and keep up on the cleanliness of the kitchen I am assigned for the day. I have learned about the proper proportions of food intake on a day-to-day basis. The management and co-workers are helpful and understanding if I have any questions or if I am running behind. The hardest part of the job would be the level of multi-tasking the job entails, feels as if the day flies by because we are always so busy. The most enjoyable part is that I am able to visit with residents during meal serving time and they are able to suggest different meal alternatives.
