A typical day at work is you clock in, start up your system, sign into everything then start taking calls.. Sometimes the calls are back to back (during busy season or if something big happens like a HUGE snow storm or something like that) and some days it is slow.
HRCC is like one big family.. I have been here 3 years now and I am for the most part still considered a newbie as most people have been here over 10 years and still going strong.. It shows how great the company is..
Work from home, flexable to build your schedule in your CORE time.
Sometimes the managment don't really know what is going on. but hey no job is perfect.
Custodian (Current Employee) – Renton, WA – December 25, 2013
Hilton world wide is always growing with new ideas or design to there many brands. The give you a wide verity of benefits to choose from so it fits to you. Management is a hit and miss in my option. Some better then others. The work is advisement is low at the branch i work at, but it is secure work if the pay and flexible hours work for you. This facility has a lot of culture, A nice blend of people.
great benifets options
hours are based and how full the house is and how much is needed of you to benifit the guest.
Restaurant Manager (Current Employee) – Honolulul, HI – November 23, 2013
Great staff. Knowledgeable old timers who observe before they connect. Management team in the food and beverage dept. of the property I am employed with does communicate well, often threw one another under the bus and often engaged in staff gossip. Rarely have time to spend with my family due to my sparatic and biased scheduling. The problems that stemmed over a course of one years is directly from upper management: affairs with staff members, hiring inexperienced management. Leadership or a lack there of trinkles down to lower management. Front desk managers are all new with the exception of one. The restaurant cannot keep a director for more than 2 years nor can they keep managers. Most do not last more than one year. There is no consistency throughout this entire property. Great place to work if you clean house.
Basically you get yelled at all day by customers because they don't like the policies Hilton has. People call you with no clue of where they actually want to go. Your calls are recorded and randomly listened to and if you dont meet all of their criteria on that specific call (and there is a lot they want) you get written up. It is stressful and you get back to back calls all day long.
work from home
stressful, back to back calls constantly, no coworker interaction.
