Engineer (Current Employee) – New York, NY – November 16, 2017
I've been in the industry almost 25 years. Hines is a good company to work for. They give a lot of training and they do hire and transfer from within. As well as having buildings all over the U.S. I don't like the way managers and chief engineers are very cozy with each other. Therefore if anyone under them has an issue. Management instantly sides with the chief. After all they hang out every weekend playing golf, going to expensive lunches, and inviting each other to family functions and award ceremonies .anyone under the chief doesn't stand a chance at getting a fair hearing. Not to mention the chief engineer hires the sons of these same managers every summer.
Building Engineer (Current Employee) – Atlanta, GA – February 26, 2017
My Chief engineer was one of the best managers ive had the plesure of working for. He was able to delegate work program such as water treatment, lock and key cutting, ecos, hazmat etc. The company had great benefits and great training program.
Hines is a global real estate company. I would highly recommend anyone to work for this company. The working hours were from 8-5, but if i needed to leave early i was allowed. Unfortunately the building was sold and Hines in no longer in the state of NM.
