DRIVER (Former Employee), NORTHEAST – March 25, 2013
Pros: paid oreintation
Cons: dispatch and fine line print.
For starters the recruiter makes it all sound tastey, like most jobs They pay for you to come to what you believed was a 2 day oreintation, its turns into 4. Good thing everything was paid by them, until you get out on the road. The Job description was Dedicated run which I did not even do any of my job description..I was sent to VA with no clean clothes,No blankets or pillow and teamed up with another driver, whom also was stuck out with no drink, food and bedding. They had NO trucks for us after oreintation. Arrived back to maine and had to sit still for an addtional 18 hours waiting for Dispatch to contact us. 4 hours from home and I had to wait..Unpaid. When dispatch was called Nobody answered...EVER. We got an I DONT KNOW...wait some more. Pay attention to Oreintation..LOTS of things that in fine print..such as $2.00 per mile when you get off route, $2,000 pet deposit if you want to bring a cat or dog and NO rider policy, $500 charge if your truck is left slightist bit dirty if you leave the company. On and On and On...We made more in Oreintation then we actually did running to VA and back. Watch this Company.
