Hixon Zuercher Capital Management is looking for a talented financial professional to join our growing wealth management firm as an Associate Investment Advisor. The right candidate will have excellent analytical skills as well as a strong ability to think independently, proactively, and creatively. The Associate Investment Advisor must be a service oriented individual who is committed to providing premier service to our valued clients.

Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

*Perform investment research and provide analysis and recommendations to the Chief Investment Officer.
*Skillfully communicate the firm’s investment philosophy, process and strategies.
*Monitor and maintain relationships with assigned clients. This includes serving as the primary contact, responding to client requests or inquiries, and conducting meetings with these clients (investment reviews).
*Prepare client retirement projections, education projections and other financial planning analysis.
*Assist the Chief Operating Officer with trading, reporting, and other operations issues.
*Participate in the firm’s business development activities.
*Develop and maintain an above average level of knowledge concerning current financial market conditions, investment analysis, and financial planning techniques.

The requirements for this position are:

*Bachelors degree required (preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics).
*CFA or CFA candidate preferred.
*CFP or CPA certification is a plus.
*At least 1-3 years of experience within the financial arena is preferred, but recent college graduates will be considered.
*Strong computer skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Training will be available for other software applications used.
*Strong people skills.
*Must have high integrity, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to professionalism and excellence.
