Retail Sales Associate (Former Employee) – Morgan Hill, CA – August 11, 2013
a typical day at work consisted of greeting and assisting customers. Finding merchandise that is out of place and replacing it in designated spot. stocking shelves. answering phone, and doing price checks. Working at the hobby lobby I learned how to assemble fixtures, design and decorate display shelves according to weekly sale. I also learned to multi-task.
Management was exceptionally great and are team players.
The co-workers were awesome and very nice. there was a couple that were rude to customers, but other then that i enjoyed working wih them.
The hardest part of my job i would say was an hour before closing; collecting go backs, facing merchandise, and dusting displays.
The most enjoyable part of my job was connecting with the customers and assisting them, I love seeing them leave happily.
awesome managment, terrific customers, and an all around great work environment.
only 2 vending machines one snack one drink, Couldn't receive change for vending machine, employees can only make purchases on off-days

Hobby lobby is an ok place to work at. The people there always gossip and management never communicate and people are usually in a disarray of what is going on sometimes and team leaders and managers ALWAYS play favorites and its rather annoying. The pay is amazing and the hours are there. They also have amazing benefits. Its just the people you have to deal with

Great company. Excellent hours for a retail store. I've been there about a month but I have enjoyed my experience so far. The fact that they are closed on Sundays is a great plus for me. Gives us time to spend with our families and make plans for Saturday nights
