Horrible place to work, no sense of employer-employee loyalty
Frame Shop Manager (Former Employee) – Louisiana – September 29, 2016
I worked here years back, and I would advise anybody to look elsewhere unless they really needed a job, and even then only for the short-term.
The managers pretty much let rude customers have their way with the place, and you'll often have to deal with them walking out of the store with something for free (not that this affects your paycheck, but it's infuriating to see inconsiderate people rewarded).
You'll probably end up working a lot of closing shifts, which often have you waiting for a handful of customers who decided to walk in a minute before business hours end. Expect to be at the store two hours or more afterwards, often with an opening shift following.
The stores are closed on Sundays, but that doesn't mean you'll have this off. Many times we were called in to basically do busywork, with the threat of termination looming if we fail to come in.
Like the title says, this is just a horrible place to be employed at. Your work won't be appreciated, managers play favorites, and the people above them are a bunch of back-stabbers. The company prides itself on being Christian, but it is far from it, and I hope to see this place shut down for the sake of others.
