The hardest part of the job was agreeing with everyone's measurements (because they were all different). But, being the 'low man on the totem pole', mine were always "wrong".
A typical day at work consisted of measuring a machine part with calipers and micrometers on paper. Drawing the sketch in Inventor 3D, and then making a drawing of the part with dimensions and views for production.
The most enjoyable part of the job was working with my coworkers, while doing my job. Also, the hours were great.
