The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for all duties of the Housekeeping Department which includes: staff training, inter-department communications, staff scheduling and inventory. The Housekeeping Supervisor usually works a regularly scheduled shift, Monday thru Friday, and must be available to work any shift as needed. The Housekeeping Supervisor should possess strong communication skills and demonstrate leadership abilities. It requires an individual that is organized, enthusiastic, goal-driven, Associate & Customer focused, and willing to contribute to a successful team.
Minimum (1) one year experience as a supervisor is required.
Responsibilities will include guest service, management and motivation of Housekeeping team, scheduling, shift coverage and any other responsibilities that ensure overall satisfaction to our associates and guests. Individual will report to and communicate with General Manager to include, staff meetings & action plans, etc. *Responsible for leading each employee in providing high quality customer service *Daily exceed the expectations of guests and clients *Function as one of the entrepreneurial leaders of the hotel *Uses discretion over the decision making for the entire operation, in conjunction with the General Manager *Responsible for the housekeeping department of the hotel, including Laundry. *Use business savvy to operate these departments as each sees fit *Develop/implement employee schedules
Maintain guest room standards
Create and monitor inventories & supplies
Inspect guest rooms daily to ensure standards are met
Must be able to lift/push 50lbs. *Other duties as assigned
