Holiday inn Express in Santa Clara is currently looking for a Front Desk Agent that understands the concept of exceptional Hotel guest service. The Front Desk Agent is responsible for front office operations, Must be able to multi-task, and prioritizes with excellent follow up skills and customer service. Responsible for ensuring 100% satisfaction from the moment a guest arrives at the hotel until they check out.
As a Front Desk Agent your responsibilities will include:
Greeting guests and checking them into and out of the hotel, fulfilling their requests during their stay, answering telephone inquiries, making reservations, and other duties as assigned.
Provide support to the sales team in executing contracts, proposals, and correspondence
Assist with sales efforts in soliciting new business and in selling guestrooms, meeting space
Assist as needed with hotel and sales related functions
Able to work through customer service related issues and problem solve.
Any other duties or responsibilities which might be required by a manager
*Available on flexible shifts on Weekday, Weekends and Holidays. (SCHEDULE RESTRICTIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED)
*Must be over 18 and have a valid driver's license
*Possessing strong written and verbal communication skills as well as exceptional time management abilities
*Previous Hotel front desk experience with OPERA and HOLIDEX preferred.
*Strong computer proficiency
At least 1 year work experience in hotel guest services or other customer service related area.
