Nursing Assistant, Bethesda, MD - December 30, 2015
My day really just consist of my patient and I all day. You have to involve yourself more to get to know your patient. With some care and effort the patient response well to you. Management is not that great. It's takes them awhile to find a replacement for me whether it's an emergency or you might need a day off. I don't really interact with any co-workers with the way my schedule is set up. The hardest part of the day is when my patient is in a very bad mood and takes it out on me. I have to step away to evaluate how to approach what is bothering them. The most enjoyable part of my day is when my patient is laughing and smiling.
