Under the direction of the Information & Communications System Coordinator, the Health Information System Analyst is responsible for systems and applications support, as well as health information and data analysis necessary to provide for clinical and management needs and meet regulatory reporting requirements. Ensures essential data necessary for health program/plan reporting requirements is timely and available. Develops reporting schedule and submission of reporting requirements. Provides technical assistant and related to training to personnel. Serves as liaison between agency and software provider and claims processing contractor.

High school diploma, plus completion of a certificate program in a computer related field and one year related work experience OR high school diploma and related training/experience of at least two years OR Associate’s Degree in computer related field (preferred). Additional 3 years related computer experience including familiarity with Microsoft office software. Demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills. Effective oral and written communication abilities. Acceptable driver’s license and automobile available for use with current insurance.
