HomeHealth - VNSM is the only organization in Southern Maine providing interactive home telehealth services to its patients.
Using innovative and interactive computer technology, our clinicians provide real-time "video visits" from a central station in our office, thereby enabling patients to see and hear the telehealth nurse through a small, – more... lightweight monitor in their home. Telehealth nurses perform medical assessments, monitor vital signs, evaluate wound status and provide self-care education using special equipment. Telehealth technology can help reduce patient hospitalization and improve the quality of life for chronic care patients.
