Home Health is a job where you work and also develop personal impressionable relationships with the clients. It becomes more than a job.
CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant (Former Employee) – Stockbridge, GA – May 16, 2017
A typical day at work you come in, and get your work done, cook, clean, pay bills, run errands, help the client with personal care. You also become a confidant to the client.
I learned that work can be fulfilling. Helping others gives a purpose that goes beyond a paycheck.
I manage myself as a home health aid/CNA I am a self starter, and manage my time and schedule with little to no supervision while being a Home health Aid.
Workplace culture varies to who and where you are working. Each and every client has their own culture.
The hardest part of the job is getting attached to a client and then them passing on.
The most enjoyable part of the job is the sense of accomplishment and knowing that I have helped someone do what they couldn't do themselves. Making the clients life more bearable and enjoyable.
