account executive, San Diego, CA - November 11, 2015
I worked for Homes.com as an account executive and a basic day was cold calling Realtors non-stop to get them to advertise on the website. You had to give them a virtual presentation over the phone and if you're used to cold calling, you know you get hung up on a LOT. I worked from 7am to 3pm Monday-Friday, weekends off. I really liked the schedule, my coworkers, and management provided ongoing training on how to make your calls better. The trainings were ok...it was basically listen to my phone call and do what I do. You are there to make money and as long as you are focused on that...you will be fine. You do have to meet your quotas or otherwise...bye bye! You get health benefits and paid training. I quit when I found a non-sales related job. They are constantly hiring, so good luck!
