Great while it lasted
BRANCH QUALITY COORDINATOR, Vancouver, WA - August 16, 2015
Too many people were hired at once due to overzealous projections. This resulted in a mass layoff, the likes of which had never happened in the history of this particular institution. I was in the unlucky third group of layoffs. There was no warning, there was no apology. There was a woman who had been there for four months compared to my two years telling me I no longer had a job. Her lack of appreciation to myself and my fellow unlucky co-workers who, like me, gave endless hours of overtime to a company that would later forsake us, left me with a foul taste for the entire industry. Because of my experiences with this bank, not only my personal treatment but in particular the attempt to force employees to open "mandatory" bank accounts with our employer, I will never work in another financial institution again.
