If you have dispute with management(nurse) they get even by lying on you.Run,run,run. No one should ever be desperate enough to work here. You would do better cleaning up dog doo in your local park.

Love working at Hoosier Village
Manager (Current Employee) –  Zionsville, INFebruary 7, 2017
I am a long time employee at Hoosier Village. It has been a great place to work. I find that my supervisor is responsive to ideas and suggestions. If you communicate you will get results. The compensation is competitive for the market and the benefits are good. The residents are great and the coworkers are mostly great. Can't let a bad apple spoil the whole basket!
Pros
Great environment
Cons
Health care is hard but that is anywhere you go.........

Management seriously careless of the issues that go on in this place. Doors are unlocked and anyone can literally walk in while you work overnight. Actual job security is a major turn off about this company. Mandatory OT of 4 days of 2nd week of the pay period.

I would think twice about working here, but if and when you do you were warned.
Pros
OT if you need and want it
Cons
Have to work Mandatory OT, no job security with unlocked doors.

Lpn Charge Nurse
LPN Charge Nurse (Former Employee) –  Indianapolis, INSeptember 17, 2015
Great place to work and good pleasant environment. The pay wasn't good but overall it was a laid back place. I wouldn't recommend this place if your a new nurse because you will not have any skills and there is no go to person to help you if you need answers. Your usually working alone on your unit.
Pros
laid back
Cons
Low pay
