A typical day at work consists of helping members and providers with their billing problems. I learned about medical coding and billing procedures. As far as management goes I have no comment. The workplace culture is one of team work. You work with various other departments to determine outcomes and you can learn a lot about the different functions of each department. The hardest part about the job is the volume of work received. The most enjoyable are the bonds you form with most of the people you work with, and the job is interesting. Your always learning something new.
