I was a beverage server and moved onto being a slot attendant at this property. I still say this was my favorite job to have. I spent most of my time talking to the guests and making them laugh while I helped them with machines or drink orders. The staff really came together to make that place feel like home and well and you feel like you matter. There were also department competitions and get togethers for community awareness and staff family outings. It was always about fun there. On top of that the pay was incredible, and there's a rich and diverse mixture of culture there so it's hard not to be sociable which works because its a huge portion of the job.
That being said, the hardest part is when you mess up on the job, and that reality sets in that you are just a worker at a really big company, you spend half your life there and you still have to keep a smile on. Mickey Mouse Status.
