Certified Nurse's Assistant (CNA) (Former Employee), Bedford, INNovember 25, 2013
Pros: paid vacation, holiday, sick and educational training
Cons: dealing with death on a daily bases
With this employeer I always felt if I was making a difference in others lives. From talking, feeding, playing games to helping them with daily hygeine. My co-workers where always there to lend a had and I never once felt as if I could not ask a question from any othe them. The one thing I did not like was losing the patient to illness.

Big Mouth (Former Employee), Fairfield, MEDecember 15, 2012
Pros: moved to colorado
I worked for myself. I was one of the founders of this nonprofit. I was the primary unpaid workers. Learned skills from talking to audiences, Publicity, Plastering, and sheet rocking to Hiring and firing Shelter staff. And staffing the national but fouced upon Maine Homeless hotline.
Working with and helping people to make a delibrately broken system – more... work was the best part of the job. – less
