I loved making a difference in the kids lives. Seeing them light up when I walked in the door and when they'd ask me to pray with them it would warm my heart. However there is CONSTANTLY drama between all the employees. It was unbearable. The gossip was like being back in high school. Also management does not have your back and if the person working after you doesn't come in you are FORCED to stay. Even if you've already worked a 12 hour shift...you will be forced to work another 12 hours. There are great employees there and they are overworked and underpaid! Some have been there for years and still only make $1 or 2 more then when they started. I give them probs for putting up with that place. The kids are lucky to have those few good employees there to care for them.
